Here we are with another look at a 2017 trend in the design world. Kids rooms are all the rage now, kids spaces specifically with bunk beds. We aren’t talking those primary colored metal bunks people. These are places they can play, be imaginative, and some have the cutest reading nooks I’ve ever seen.
Talk about a place to create and be imaginative! Those little drapes are everything. This would be the perfect spot for the child who doesn’t nap anymore, [don’t tell Georgia this is a thing] but needs that quiet time.
This is so chic and clean. I love the black hardware with the white drapes and the spot for kid’s artwork they can enjoy!
Two words for this one. That Railing.
Love the use of color on the drapery here and everything else kept pretty simple. The velvet in the drape also gives the stark white/gray some warmth. The last two are two of my all-time favorite kids rooms, the first one is so darling and cozy. We are even thinking about doing this in Georgia’s room someday to give more playroom. And the design on this one, I mean I don’t even know where to start! The color, the use of wallpaper and pattern mixing to the acrylic and brass handrail on the stairs, what?! Amazing. And you haven’t even seen the rest of the room – click on #6 to see the close doors.
Hope you all are liking walking through these design trends with me. Have a great weekend!
